CONSTRUCTION
| Hydra Marine Services was the successful diving
contractor for Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd.'s replacement of the Berth
No. 2 - Port Wingwall at the B.C. Ferries, Horseshoe Bay Terminal in
West Vancouver, BC.
The existing structure required fresh-heading and burning of the
main support steel h-piles due to the severely deteriorated condition.
Additional work included the replacement of several anchor chains for
the floating leads at Berth No. 3.

Hydra Marine Services was the successful
contractor for B.C. Ferries requiring the installation of an Impressed
Current - Cathodic Protection System for various structures at the
Tsawwassen Terminal in Delta, BC.
Hydra Marine Services was also the successful contractor for B.C
Ferries requiring the installation of Sacrificial Anode - Cathodic
Protection Systems at Sointula (Malcom Island), Alert Bay, Denman
Island, Hornby Island, Saltery Bay, Texada Island, Quathiaski Cove
(Quadra Island) and Cortes Island Terminals.

| Hydra Marine Services was the successful diving
contractor for Fraser River Pile Driving Ltd. replacement of the
Seaplane Ramp at the Pitt Meadows Municipal Airport in Pitt Meadows,
BC.
The existing timber structure was demolished and replaced with a
steel structure. The pilecaps where required to by fitted,
installed and welded to the piles underwater.

Hydra Marine Services was the successful contractor for
The Vancouver Port Authority's - Caisson Undermining Repair Program at
the Centerm, Vanterm and Lynnterm Facilities.
The existing undermining was repaired by the installation of Gabion
Baskets along the offshore face of the undermined structures. Tremied
concrete was used to seal the undermined face and the void was filled
by Pressure Grouting through previously installed grout tubes.

SALVAGE
| Hydra
Marine Services was the diving contractor chosen by Kasper Diving and
SMIT International Ltd. in the successful roll-over of the Seaspan's
'Rigger', a self-dumping log barge.
The barge overturned while dumping logs at Avalon Point along the
west shore of Thornborough Channel in Howe Sound, BC. Additional work
included retreaval of both grapples and three boom boats from a water
depth of 160 ft.
The barge was towed to nearby Gambier Island, where she was righted
with the twin cranes still attached.

Hydra Marine Services was the diving
contractor chosen by Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. in the successful
lifting of the Seaspan's tug the 'Planet'.
The tug overturned in the Fraser River, downstream from the Port
Mann Bridge in Surrey, BC. The current of the Fraser River resulted in
WCB not allowing a 'double lift' from two seperate water
derricks
A temporary pile supported jacking rig was constructed and the tug
was successfully salvaged.

| Hydra Marine Services was the diving contractor chosen
by Kasper Diving in the successful lifting of the two Chinese vessels
that were used to smuggle illegal aliens into Canada.
The ships sank at the wharf where they were berthed in Port Alberni,
BC. Both ships were subsequently re-floated in a day.
